Hello! Today I'll be giving some tips for decorating your room.
Tip #1
Keep your room clean! You won't be able to decorate if it's messy. Put books away in shelves. Put papers and toys in bins. Hang up clothes in your closet. If you have anything that you don't need anymore, give it to a younger sibling or donate it.
Tip #2
Add some posters! They are a very easy way to personalize a space. If you like, use some washi tape to make frames around the posters. Make sure not to add too many, though. They can make a room feel more cluttered. Less is more!
Tip #3
A great way to add light and warmth to your room is to add some fairy lights. Please be careful and ask an adult before you hang them up. You have to hang them properly and away from papers and fabrics. They look really cute in the end <3
Tip #4
Get a bedspread/comforter in a color that you like. (Make it neutral color because if it's neon yellow you might look back and think, "Why did I buy a neon yellow bedspread." ) If you can't, then drape your bed with a blanket. Some pillowcases in a matching color would make it even better!
Tip #5
If you're like me, you spend a lot of time at your desk drawing, writing, and reading. Make sure your desk is tidy. Put pencils and markers in cups. Put papers in the desk drawer. Make sure there's plenty of room to put down a notebook and stuff!
Tip #6
Make your room personal to you by putting your name somewhere. Make a banner that has your name on it and hang it up. Or make a poster with your name. You could also paint it on the wall, but always get adult supervision and permission.
Tip #7
To make your room seem fresh and new, take posters off the walls every once and a while and replace them with new ones. If you have things on display, rotate them too. Have an adult help you rearrange your room if you're getting tired of the placement of the furniture.
Hi everyone! As you may know, there is a new series on Netflix that premiered today called My Little Pony: Make Your Mark. It follows the five new characters from the G5 movie that came out in 2021. Apparently, there will be 'chapters' instead of seasons? I don't really see the difference, but whatever. There's only one episode right now, but I'm assuming there will be a new one every week. This one was about 45 minutes long; I'm sure the others will be shorter. I watched it today and I definitely have some thoughts. This post contains spoilers for the first episode, so read at your own risk. Here We Go Again There are five main characters in the Make Your Mark special: Sunny Starscout, Hitch Trailblazer, Pipp Petals, Zipp Storm, and Izzy Moonbow. They first appeared in My Little Pony: A New Generation. I liked the G5 movie; there were a lot of plot conveniences and plot holes, but the characters were okay and the songs were fabulous. So far, I do not like ...
ᵇᵒᵒᵏˢʸᵇᵉᵃʳ ⁱˢ ᵗʸᵖⁱⁿᵍ . . . There are five girls who inspire me every day and remind me to be my best: Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Cho Chang, and Nympadora Tonks. These are all from the Harry Potter series and they all are awesome. I drew pictures of them to remind myself to try to be like them. I hung them up on my wall. Hermione: Intelligent and Logical Hermione reminds me to try my hardest in school and to approach my problems from a logical angle. Ginny: Fearless and Bold Ginny helps me to be brave. I'll be bold and try new things. Luna: Creative and Optimistic Luna reminds me to be positive and enjoy the small things. She lets me embrace my creativity and my inner oddball. Cho: Resilient and Determined Cho reminds me that I can do anything I want to. I just have to push through and keep going. (Second picture is blurry hehe) Tonks: Confident and Brave Tonks reminds me to have confidence and believe in myself. I encourage you to find role models that help ...
ᵇᵒᵒᵏˢʸᵇᵉᵃʳ ⁱˢ ᵗʸᵖⁱⁿᵍ . . . If you asked me what the best movie of 2021 is (so far) I would say, without a doubt, " Luca ." The movie is set in an Italian seaside town called Portorosso. Luca and his friends, Alberto and Giulia (pronounced like Julia), are training for the Portorosso Cup. Alberto and Luca want to win the cup to buy a Vespa with the prize money and see the world together. But Luca and Alberto have a secret: they're sea monsters! I first watched this movie a few months ago, and since then it's become part of my life. I've watched it more than ten times and can recite everyone's lines *almost* perfectly. I'm obsessed. One of my favorite things about this movie is the graphics. Both the art and the animation are exquisite. The style that the characters are drawn in is refreshing, and the scenery is very realistic. Gelato! I also love the setting: a human town called Portorosso. I really like this town. There is no real Portorosso in Italy,...
