13 . In Which I Rant About KotLC Until The Computer Explodes ˊˎ-

This is chaotic, you have been warned. This is a very long post about Keeper of the Lost Cities in which nothing makes sense and grammar is nonexistent.

! spoilers ! like, major spoilers. Seriously. Don't read any further if you haven't read the entire series.

Nuh-uh-uh. I see you trying to scroll.

I'm serious.

Ok here you go, you must have read all 8.5 books.

 - Alright, first I'm kind of upset we have to wait another year for the next book, but I guess it's okay because, you know, Shannon had a baby and that's more important to her than us getting our story. But it comes Nov. 8 2022 and every day without knowing if Keefe is okay is torture. 

- About Fitz: I feel like he had great personality in the beginning but then Shannon made him all about anger issues. And he does have anger issues, but that not his ONLY personality trait. Give him a little more than that. I know, most people hate him. But I don't! He's not one of my faves, but he's okay. 

- Elwin is def Sophie's father because he cares so much about her- like I know she gets hurt often and she has to be taken care of but still. And in Unlocked it said, "Elwin twisted the vial away from Ro in a way that made Keefe wonder if he had some battle training" or something like that, I'm not going to check lol. But what if he was part of the Black Swan and that's how he learned it?? And Mr. Forkle said that the mother and father couldn't be too close. And Elwin has barely any interaction with Oralie. 

- what's Keefe going to do when he's in the Forbidden Cities?? Where's he going to stay, and how will he afford food or anything? His elvin money isn't going work here and he can't hack into the ATM like Dex. I super worried about him.

- Alright, what if Jensi's brother is Blur? He's the only one that really fits, and once Sophie finds out, that could rope Jensi into the story a little more, which at this point I really want to happen because Jensi is slowly fading into the background and he should get involved.

- Let's develop Linh a little more? just because she totally isn't as developed as Tam. 

- I really liked Keefe's chapters in Unlocked, not only because it enforced the Sokeefe argument, but because it was nice to see Sophie from someone else's point of view. It made Sophie's personality seem even better. 

- I actually wasn't that sad about Kenric, don't come at me- at the time he was my fave Councillor but that was only because I didn't like Bronte that much back then, Oralie was too pink (lol), and I didn't know the others that well. it was very sad but I didn't really cry that much because I never really had an emotional connection with him. 

- Lady Gisela is totally the best villain.  she's absolutely wonderful, I love her, she's so evil -

- Least favorite character is Lord Cassius bleh

- Let's see a lot more Marella, Maruca, and Stina, please.

- Team Valiant 

-  Let's not forget that it was Keefe who came up with the ship names. Let's give him credit for that. 

- I made myself a Sophie costume ehehe

- "Keefe did a funny wiggle dance" Help me, please

- So apparently there's going to be a movie. On one hand I'm insanely happy and hyped for this but on the other hand: WHAT IF THEY RUIN IT :cri:

- I want to see some matchmaking lists after Sophie finds out her bio father. I'M SERIOUS SHANNON. Wouldn't it be cool if she did something on her website where you could take a matchmaking quiz and it would give you a match list :00

- Before KotLC:

Somebody: Do you believe in soulmates? 

Me: No. There's no way one person could be so perfect for the other.

After KotLC:

Somebody: Do you believe in soulmates?

Me: *reads Sokeefe moments with eyes glazed over* yes

- This is rather long 

- I made a really good drawing of Keefe and Meowmeow said "This is better than the Mona Lisa" and I'm like "nO" 

- I read Neverseen again and I don't think I was prepared for the amount of Keefe sadness there: "Did she ever love me?" "Who am I?" "You try to fix everything, Foster. You even fixed Exillium. But you can't fix me."

- NEW COVER NEW COVER NEW COVER 

- OKAY BUT MY FAVORITE TRIO IS LINH, MARELLA, AND MARUCA. They have some of the most powerful abilities-

- Tam looks like an anime character

- Stina is underrated 

- Linh x Marella is yes

- OKAY I KNOW I SAID LADY GISELA WAS MY FAVE VILLAIN EARLIER BUT- Fintan is sO entertaining

- plsss it was so cute when Keefe fell asleep underneath the Panakes tree in Legacy

- and the e.l. fudges - i almost died of cuteness overload

- I am looking forward to Nov 8th more than any other day THIS YEAR. I'm more excited about than my birthday, halloween, christmas, and basically any other event that will happen to me this year

- Marella my queen

- Fanart for Stina looks so good??? Like wow - 

- What if Trix is Marella's dad? Because we have never seen her dad before. And he's one of the only gusters.

- Caprise is a little sus 

-  Unlocked's ending- I can't even- no

- Okay so if you look at Stina's registry file in Unlocked, you'll see that she HAS SPYBALL APPROVAL. Did I miss something? Or is that just a mystery that has yet to be solved?

- Sophie commited arson so I'm sure the Neverseen aren't going to be too happy

- there should be a spinoff series of the adults. I want more about Alden and Alina - plus that would just be so much fun

- Grady and Edaline are the definition of wholesomeness

- This is a semi-popular theory but it has been shunned because the fandom just can't face it- to tell the truth  neither can I. I personally don't believe it but: what if Lord Cassius is Sophie's biological father? He has blond hair, plus he's an Empath. And I don't think he has anything to do with Oralie. Now, I think that this is false because I'm sure the Black Swan wouldn't have let Sophie get so close to Keefe if that were the case, because let's face it, they can probably tell Keefe is crushing on Sophie. They wouldn't have let Cassius join the Black Swan either, if this was the case. Plus this would mean that Sophie was Keefe's half-sister. And that's something I'm just not ready to face rn. 

- They better have a good actor for Keefe in the new movie >:0

- The movie better do the books justice, I swear. Otherwise I will break something. 

- If Sokeefe doesn't happen in the next book, I will throw the book, scream, and curse Shannon's name to the winds

- Just letting you know, if you like Sofitz, I do respect that. I am a passionate supporter of Sokeefe but I appreciate everybody else's opinions.  If Fitz makes Sophie happy in the end, that's fine with me. I wouldn't mind Sofitz happening as long as that's what Sophie truly wants. I ship Sokeefe because there is evidence that that's not what Sophie truly wants. 

- AAAAAA OKAY SO THIS THEORY- I DID NOT COME UP WITH THIS- BUT THEY SAID THIS: "Shannon Messenger is  Amy. In Nightfall Amy got her memories back and a new identity. That identity was Shannon Messenger." HELP HELP THAT JUST ROCKED THE VERY FOUNDATION OF MY SOUL-

- OKAY I JUST THOUGHT- Gethen could be Sophie's bio dad??? Both blonde telepaths, just a thought :0 That would be much better than Cassius, and prob more shocking than Elwin. 

- SEARCH UP 'kotlc fanart @catching-lightning_' on Google - she has such good art and she draws Stina so good :00 

- Plss tell us Shannon- who is the one that Alden thought was his perfect match?? Was is Edaline??

- Please comment down below- is there any scenes in any of the books that have a mosiac/stained glass window? Because I think that's what's on the cover of Stellarlune. 

- We can now vote for Iggy's new color on Shannon's Insta

- mm okie so i found so more evidence for gethen-is-sophie's dad theory- remember in the first book when he had the dog and he was trying to lure her away? mr. forkle reacted really quickly. i know he's protective of sophie but he heard a few words and told gethen that he was going to call the police. so maybe forkle recognized him.

- I draw Keefe too often

- I like Fitz well enough but in Legacy- I just want to throw things every time his name is mentioned.

-  THE WORD LEGACY IS NEVER GOING TO BE THE SAME. EVERY TIME I HEAR IT I DO A DOUBLE TAKE. NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMIND ME 

- i shall love keefe until the sun burns out 

- HELP ME. I REREAD THE FIRST BOOK, AS ONE DOES, AND OF COURSE, THE VACKERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DESCRIBED AS HAVING BRITISH ACCENTS. WELL KENRIC SAID THAT SOPHIE WAS SPEAKING THE ENLIGHTENED LANGUAGE WITH 'AN ACCENT ALMOST AS PERFECT AS [ALDEN AND FITZ].' SO THIS MEANS THAT LITERALLY EVERYBODY IN THE SERIES HAVE BEEN SPEAKING IN A BRITISH ACCENTS THIS ENTIRE TIME. *steps back from the books to regroup*
